PRODUCT OVERVIEW:
Self-Luminous Custom Signs are a non-electrical solution for custom signage that are long lasting and energy efficient. These signs are totally self-contained, highly durable, and attractive. The TCS Tritium Custom Signs are illuminated with a light source that consists of glass tubes internally coated with phosphor and filled with tritium gas, a natural isotope of hydrogen. They are completely free of any external energy source providing 10-20 years of continuously illuminated, maintenance-free operation and code compliant.
CONSTRUCTION:
Rugged thermoplastic, flame retardant ABS injection molded housing with tamper resistant finishing bezel. Sealed internal construction prevents unauthorized access to light tubes. Screen printed internal legend protected by clear polycarbonate window.
ILLUMINATION:
Tritium gas tubes glow continuously without the need for external power for 10-20 years, depending on the model. Letter brightness meets UL requirements for self-luminous exit signs. 125 foot viewing distance.
EXIT FACE:
Customizable stencil with made-to-order wording and graphics.
INSTALLATION:
Heavy duty universal mounting bracket supplied with hardware. Suitable for wall, ceiling, end mount or optional pendant mounting. Single face models are supplied with keyhole slots in the exit housing’s backplate for attachment to wall surfaces. Mounting canopies are provided with all models for attachment to ceiling or wall surfaces.
CODE COMPLIANCE:
Meets NEC Article 500, Class 1, 11 and 111 conditions. Licensed under state and federal regulations for distribution to General Licensees.
