PRODUCT OVERVIEW:
Unparalleled in reliability, the SCPX series utilizes photoluminescent technology which absorbs and stores ambient light. In the event of a power failure, or in a smoky environment, the SCPX is a clearly recognizable egress sign. Since there is no electricity required, the SCPX is a safer signage solution, which saves on maintenance and energy costs. The SCPX is non-toxic and non-radioactive which eliminates disposal fees.
CONSTRUCTION:
The SCPX series is constructed of durable .035 steel with integrated, high grade photoluminescent panel, or photoluminescent panel only with silk screened font. The steel housing is available in black (standard), white, green, and safety red. Silk screened lettering is available in both red and green.
ILLUMINATION:
Non-electrical, photoluminescent glow-in-the-dark technology utilizes ambient lighting to charge and illuminates without dependence on electrical backup during an emergency.
EXIT FACE:
Letter Size: 6” letters with 3/4” stroke
Directional Indicators: Infield applicable chevron arrows sized to meet UL visibility requirements.
INSTALLATION:
Suitable for surface ceiling, wall or end mount applications. Can be used for high or low level installations.
CODE COMPLIANCE:
UL924 listed, meets NFPA Life Safety Code 101 & OSHA requirements. Meets current building codes: IBC, ICBO, BOCA, & SBCCI, NFPA5000.
