PRODUCT OVERVIEW:
The GTDV6 is a premium galvanized 20-gauge steel direct view exit sign with the superior readability and clean aesthetic of direct view LED lights. The GTDV6 comes standard with a white, baked powder coat finish and is also available in black. AC only (including dual circuit) and battery backup models are both available. The battery backup models come standard with a sealed lead acid battery with a nickel cadmium version also available. Over 115 energy efficient LED lights spell out the word EXIT for a clearly defined sign that meets various building codes and is UL 924 Listed.
CONSTRUCTION:
Enclosure, cover, faceplate, and mounting canopy are 20-gauge galvanized steel with white baked-on, powder coated paint. Housing is also available in black. Faceplate has 3/4” black letters with red or green LEDs. 1/8” polycarbonate shield protects LEDs from impact. Custom colors available upon request, inquire for additional price.
ILLUMINATION:
Starting at only 2 watts, GTDV6 LED exit signs will save up to 95% of energy costs over conventional bulb signs. Super bright, direct view LEDs are rated for an 8-10 year life span without failure, cutting replacement costs dramatically over conventional bulb signs.
EXIT FACE:
Letter Size: 6” letters with 3/4” stroke
Directional Indicators: Infield applicable chevron arrows sized to meet UL visibility requirements.
BATTERY TECHNOLOGY:
The GTDV6 Series uses Nickel Cadmium or Sealed Lead Acid maintenance free batteries, designed to provide many years of dependable service.
INSTALLATION:
Installs in minutes with easy-to-read instructions and detailed diagrams. No special hardware or tools necessary. Internally housed components and battery eliminate the use of a canopy when back mounting single face exits. Mounting canopy included.
