PRODUCT OVERVIEW:

The EL65 and EL65H provide superior emergency lighting illumination with the use of tungsten or halogen lamps, respectively. The EL65 series is constructed of impact resistant thermoplastic to withstand abuse and corrosion. With AC lock-out and brownout protection, the EL65 series is constructed as a dependable emergency lighting source for your indoor application.

CONSTRUCTION:

Unit and lamp housings are precision molded with white or black finish, constructed of flame retardant, corrosion proof, UV stable thermoplastic. Units resist denting, peeling, scratching and corrosion.

ILLUMINATION:

6 volt, 5.4 watt wedge-based lamps or 6 volt, 5 watt MR-16 halogen lamps.

BATTERY TECHNOLOGY:

Maintenance-free, sealed lead acid battery provides an estimated service life of 10 years with an operating temperature range of 65 F to 85 F or 19 C to 30 C.

INSTALLATION:

Units are mountable in any orientation, on wall or ceilings. A universal mounting pattern and rear key hole slots are provided.

DC Overload and Short Circuit Protection: Provided by a disconnect circuit that automatically resets itself when the fault condition is corrected. Brownout Protection: Automatically switches the unit to emergency mode when utility voltage is reduced to the point at which most fluorescent light fixtures would extinguish.
