PRODUCT OVERVIEW:

This recessed fixture is an excellent choice when an attractive recessed emergency light is required. A full range of manual adjustment is made possible by the swivel-and-point lamp-head design. In cases of AC power loss, it provides a minimum of 90 minutes illumination. A trouble-free lead-calcium battery is provided with the fixture. The lamp head may be adjusted through the full range of motion because of the special swiveltrack design.

CONSTRUCTION:

Die-formed all aluminum construction for maximum heat dissipation and rust protection. Adjusts vertically in plaster frame to accommodate 1/2” to 1-3/8” ceiling. Wire through junction box. Preinstalled adjustable bar hanger. The thermoplastic trim of the product makes it corrosion-proof and scratch-and impact-resistant. UV-stabilization prevents discoloration of the product. Beveled injection molded face with one round lamp head molded into sloped side surfaces of fixture.

Beveled face with one 5 Watt MR16 lamp head.

BATTERY TECHNOLOGY:

6V, 4 amp-hour lead calcium battery works during power failures. Easily replaceable and requires no maintenance. When completely charged, supplies emergency power for 90 minutes. Indicator light shows high charge and readiness for operation.

INSTALLATION:

Recessed emergency light fixture for drop-in or suspended ceilings. This unit mounts easily and appears flush with the ceiling. Preinstalled adjustable bar hangers.

Safety Circuitry: AC Lockout: Prevents battery discharge prior to initial unit power-up saving installation time.
Low Voltage Battery Disconnect: Protects the battery from being severely damaged by deep discharge during prolonged power failures. DC Overload and Short Circuit Protection: Provided by a disconnect circuit that automatically resets itself when the fault condition is corrected. Brownout Protection: Automatically switches the unit to emergency mode when utility voltage is reduced to the point at which most fluorescent light fixtures would extinguish.
